There is a space for another cultural manifestation, that is visual art – folk art – at the Lithuanian Song Celebration. Therefore, do not lose the chance to visit the Folk Art Exhibition hosted at the Lithuanian National Museum. The exhibition presents creative works inspired by traditional lifestyle of our ancestors produced by the best contemporary folk artists and craftsmen from all over Lithuania. Some part of the exhibits is also selected from the museum funds.

Usually the Folk Art Exhibition exposes around 1,5 thousand works presented by around 500 folk artists.

The exhibition varies each year, thus once having seen the painting collection, other times you would be delighted with collection of sculpture or other genres. Come and have a look at the Lithuanian folk artists’ creative oeuvre.
